The reason that we are co-hosting this RAINN event is that there have been incidents of people getting drugged at clubs by random people. Not only is this happening at Buzz, but at other clubs all over the DC area. The point is, we want people to be more aware and careful no matter where they are.

In addition, this is a celebration of RAINN's 8th birthday as well as spokesperson Tori Amos' 39th birthday.

Free beer and other refreshments, free cd for the first 100 people, and free admission to Buzz afterwards to see The Crystal Method, who JUST got nominated for MTV's VMA for Breakthrough Video.

When you purchase a presale ticket, you will be automatically entered to win $500 worth of Tony & Tina products. Lots of glitter, sparkles, and shine, very fun stuff. There will be other raffles going on that night as well.

Think of it as a pre-party for Buzz that night, but for a very good cause.

I have to boost this thread because I work for RAINN and we would love to see as many of you out there as possible. Yes, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. is early, but if you are over 21, you get free beer, Adegen and Switchstance will be spinning, and you get free admission to The Crystal Method later that night.
