Guest jroo Posted August 20 Report Share Posted August 20 Originally posted by dgmodel how can i extract data off of a cd that is scratched??? unless you know something special. you cant. the cd rom cant read the cd cuz its scratched. now if its really important you can try two things. get a cheap little cd cleaner thing. one where you put the cd in and crank the handle around. or go to a place that says that they refinish cd's. sometimes that'll help, it all depends on how bad its scratched.
