Do actions of an artsit/DJ affect your musical respect?

In other words does the way a

DJ/Musician act affect the respect you have for

their "sound"...(Regardless of genres) as an artist.

Today at the record store I work

at there was quite a debate on this

subject...

Pretty much it came to this:

A) 50% Didn't care about

how someone acts as long as their

music is ground breaking they will

keep buying it..

B) The other 50% feel that

if an artist represents himself

and his genre-scene or craft in a

rude and arrogant manner that they

will eventually loose respect all together

and stop buying their music....

*************

HOW DO YOU FEEL?

Do actions of an artist/

DJ affect your musical respect

for his/her sound?

WOULD YOU CONTINUE TO SUPPORT

A MUSICIAN/DJ WITH YOUR $$$

THAT ACTS like A

COMPLETE ASS IN PUBLIC?

But all canibal baby eating aside,

I think...

In the end music outlasts

the tabloids but I'll put it to you this way...

I never bought a single Oasis

album after I saw Liam be a complete

ass wipe in an interview on MTV..

I thought..

"MAN, I'm giving THIS guy my money?

Fuck that..What a shit head."

In a completely different

ARENA (no pun intended)

How many people take Mike Tyson seriously now.?

He may be a great fighter..

But it sure is harder and harder

to think of him that way when he opens

up his mouth..

(and even before the ear incident)
