No, I'm not feeling what you're saying. The last guy I dated, if you can call it that, was 22 and from a physical aspect he was the best ever!! He totally knew what he was doing, better than any guy my age, that's for sure. You can't say a guy is inexperienced b/c of his age, and if he is I'll just teach him the ways, that's all. Feel me? i know what you're saying. it's not that my standards have lowered through the years. it's that i know what i want now - it's more about the person and less about the looks. i think when i was younger i was more impressed by the way a guy looked than what kind of person he was. but now, it doesn't really matter, as long as he has a good heart and a great sense of humor. and if he's hot - BONUS! divalicious Posted November 15 Report Share Posted November 15 I have to add my 2¢ here, with regard to Nestors post about one's standards being lower now, and seeing the beauty of youth...I do agree with Nicki, in that I do indeed see more hot 22 y.o. now than when I was in my early 20's. Think about it... 7 years ago, you didn't have as many guys who were as into body building, and cosmetic grooming, and let's face it, guys nowadays are starting to sex it up a little more. (YAY! btw) And this is a growing trend. So you can certainly expect that with the added physical fitness concerns of today's 22 y.o. you will have more attractive looking guys (and girls). I do have to mention though, that it's not only the 22 y.o. who are more into physical fitness... It's a growing trend amongst all the age groups, so in actuality, you will start to see more and more attractive looking people generally. So, it's not so much that our standards are lowered... On the contrary, our standards have become higher! I want a lot more now, than when I was 22.
