  1. Nice tunes happening here: mms://69.56.181.46
  2. Although the crowd might be 'prettier' at those B&T clubs, I bet you couldn't make that statment anywhere where the music actually counted...
  3. Damn! Too bad I'm broke as a joke Why couldn't this be next week? Aaaaarrrrrrhhhhh.. I hate getting paid monthly
  4. I'm actually not sure! I'll ask around but you may want to ask on my board. Someone there may know. I'll ask though and get back to ya...
  5. BTW, Nextel is so good that during the blackout in the summer, they were one of the few carriers that actually were up and running. I was able to use the point to point to contact family and work.
  6. Is J. Peters still there?
  7. Sup chelsea17! Right on! I've been to Webster about 3 times and was very turned off. this was a while back though, we're talking about when Carbon was still opened. But big commercial places like Webster always play it safe. Nothing like the old days when DJ's actually broke out new stuff. Maybe some day they'll get the message
  8. Nextel is great. I've had them for 3 years now (I switched from AT&T). Get the lowest rate plan if you don't really use that many minutes (like me) but if you're a heavy cell user, you really shouldn't go with them because they are expensive. It's more of a business oriented service. The taxes and fees are part of every carriers plans, no way around that unless we overthrow the government
  9. Never liked the muzak there, always seemed fake Did they ever get any real dj's?
  10. I haven't been here in like a year. What's the hottest party in NYC right now???? Discuss!
  11. Poor Janet, her sales must be slow This reminds me of the fake Brittney/Madonna kiss... What will they think of next
  12. Here it is! It's going to be a hot party!!!!
  13. Here I am during the blackout of 2003! Hehehe...
  14. BTW, how many of you are still Oakie fans?
  15. For those of you that missed last Saturday's show on KTU by Oakenfold, I have it posted on my site. Check it out! http://undergroundnyc.com/radiomixes.asp Peace, Nestor.
  16. Communism would work if the system is free of corruption or outside influences. Cuba is messed up because the "freedom" loving Americans had it in a blockade for the past 40 years. If we had laid our greedy gloves off of Cuba, as a people they would have prospered under even a socialist communist dictatorship. The same goes for the U.S.S.R. Had the American banking cabal not sabotaged the U.S.S.R. system of finance, they might have still be around today. Although I don’t agree they were really for their people, that system was self sufficient for decades but our economic onslaught and tinkering doomed them from the beginning. America is afraid of another super power emerging that will endanger her primacy. Read “The Grand Chessboard†by Zbigniew Brzezinsk, an American globalist, he outlines the geostrategic imperatives of the American rulers. We are an empire plain and simple and we are following empirical designs. If you think we have freedom here, you are sadly mistaken. Your votes really don't count, especially in national elections such as the president. But this is also the case in most, but not all, local elections. Check here for info: http://www.votescam.com Capitalism never really worked in this country. The very rich have always taken advantage of the poor and middle classes. Look at anything in your possession, what does it say? "Made in China," "Made in Taiwan," "Made in Brazil?" Made by slave labors exploited by American capitalist but at the same time, stiffing the American people from jobs here at home. Look at the stock market, when you see it go below 5,000 expect most of the pension funds to go broke. You think the patriot act is about terrorism? When the bottom finally falls out of the economy, they will need the patriot act to kill opposition to the government. There are going to be a lot of angry people that can't make ends pretty soon. That's why they are creating the Patriot Act II: http://www.pbs.org/now/politics/lewis.html
  17. Real drama queens post anonymouly and create drama. Now get lost dip shit, I was here first.
  18. This is good, at least a few of you are using your marbles. I agree dirtyepic18, but within all organizations there is decent. If you read the article, you'll see that the owner of Halcyon is opposed to Rubins stance on the cabarte law. Halcyon has been harassed over and over again and even shut down at times. I'm pretty sure the trail to those responsible can be found
  19. Soon, it won't matter how much education you've gotten. The fix is in the works for wall st. http://www.harpers.org/online/trillion-dollar_hustle/?pg=1 Now, capitalism is a big lie. It never really worked in this country without us being at war with something or someone. At the root of it is the Federal Reserve. It is the single most evil institution in this land. Because of it, this nation has been bankrupt since 1913. Don't take my word for it, do some research yourself. Start here: http://www.themoneymasters.com/
  20. BTW, it's a great film. All the joe 6 packs out there need to see this.
  21. Check here: http://www.bowlingforcolumbine.com/
  22. I'm almost positive this "drug crusade" has more to do with the NYNA then public safety. I can't stress this enough, read that article, it names names. Although the article is about the cabaret laws, these people have pull with the mayor’s office. Do you understand that Exit had close to 3k people a night and S.F. about 1.5k? That's 4.5K people that will be forced to go to other clubs, bars and lounges owned by members of the NYNA. There is big money at stake. They gain (NYNA); you loose your favorite space. We need to dig and see who is benefiting and boycott that club(s), lounge(s) and bar(s). This most definitely has a paper trail. Some of us need to follow up on it.
  23. Roman Ricardo was the DJ at 1018 (Now the Roxy) back in like 1988 and 1989. He was a freestyle DJ that first introduced the Latin kids to House Music. Don't know what he's been up to lately. I honestly haven't heard of him spin in over 13 years. Check out pictures of 1018 back in the days: http://undergroundnyc.com/1018/ Peace
  24. Arc will be next if those greedy businessmen paying off political leaders behind the scene aren't stopped. When Arc was Vinyl, it was one of the first clubs hit. Drug use was practically non-existent but they got closed down anyway. It's only a matter of time till they get Arc too. I agree, the obvious crack-headed kids look awful. But they are not the only reason why a certain few want most of the clubs in the city to be closed down. Let's mobilize and fight back!
  25. Gooliani, Bloombug, it makes no difference. You have to see who is supporting these idiots politcally and boycott them. Let's form an organization, write letters and mobilize to bring these idiots down. They are expecting us to point the fingers at the drugs, ourselves and the Mayor. That's a BIG mistake. Who's with me?
