What does she need when she brings him/her home? What does she need to take w/ her to the hospital?C) What to buy allot of? heatherlynn Posted September 23 Report Share Posted September 23 i have a FEW children myself. so with 11 years of mothering, i got you covered.diapers, diapers, diapers... never can have enough. just buy them in different sizes eventually so you don't have to much of one size. babies grow fast!!!wipes are good to have. but, costly. good old moist paper towels in a ziplock bag for travel.she'll need alot of support at the hospital..... jjcbebe Posted September 23 Report Share Posted September 23 Hi, Actually my son just turned three months old on the 17th.Your friend needs, plenty of baby blankets, a lot of onesies, a blanket sleeper, plenty of socks, enough crib sheets, and at least 5 baby bottles. The thing I run out most of is diaper rash ointment, and baby wash. People bought my so many diapers that he outgrow some of the packs. Huggies runs a little small, Pampers a little bigger.A lot of people bought my son things that are huge, and my son is doing well he is three months , 15 pounds and he still fits into 0-3 months in Carters.. Carters runs just right with space to grow, " First Impressions" runs a little small.Since winter is on its way I suggest you buy him a little fleece onesie. A few little caps, maybe a pacifer, although the baby probably won't take.I bought my son, his mobile/aquarium/ and sleepy pooh bear before he was born and it put him to bed. Def....A nice maybe long sleepy shirt... if she is not breastfeedingtoiletries, no perfume but maybe a nice body spray. and plenty of lotion..the I.V's are horrible for the skin... Reeni Posted September 23 Report Share Posted September 23 for her:basic over night bag(night gown underwear change of clothes)for the baby onsies and lots of them diapers(huggies) wet ones a&d ointment(for diaper rash)bouncer with the vibrator lots of bottles be sure to sterilize every thing the nipple the ring the top before use.carters clothing is really good for newborns*as soon as she goes into labor clean your house like you never cleaned before especially the room that the baby is staying in with things like amonia*also when it comes time to wash the babies clothes it can not be washed with anybody else clothes and with baby detergentand the machine has to run without clothes first to get rid of anything left in the machine(use bleach or amonia as you would use detergent for this)anything else pm me:D Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
