clubcub
Has anyone heard this yet? Looks really promising: nu-school breaks on GU?I like his Q&A.....http://www.globalunderground.co.uk/lavelle/
diegonyc
im not the biggest of breaks fan out there but can appreciate when played at the right moment. had a listen to this mix a couple of days ago and its just not my cup of tea. by the time i get to track 3 or 4, i lose all interest. sobeton
listen to a promo copy a few days ago. starts out with a very eighties type sound, then it gets very interesting. GU has been accused of becoming, very predictive in their releases. this cd could prove to be rather interesting.
vigo
If you're into James Lavelle you might want to sample some more a his flavours at his label 'Mo-Wax'. They have a broad range of super dishes from Hip-Hop to house.http://www.mowax.com/home.htmIf its non-linear beats you want in your diet then i suggest a healthy serving of these guys http://www.ninjatune.net/mmm tasty. If you delighted in the Lavelle dish and are still not full you may want to have a look at Giles Peterson as a nocturnal snack.Right i'm off to gorge on some brittany with some milk of magnesia and a bottle of afterwash. vicman
1st cd i good....nothing super to rave abouth though...i prefer the hybrid & djhyper type of breaks...but lavalle at least he shows on the first cd why he's doing this GU2nd cd u can just throw it in the garbage disposal, 'cuz its pretty darn bad....in fact id rather be <--- this little green guy here, than having to listen to it again.
