She obviously wants me.

: )

Just kidding RaveBabe - Total joke

I highly appreciate the compliment knowing that I have ALWAYS respected the UK and it's sounds. After all, the UK is were I land most of my vinyl's and will continue to land them there considering that I have always felt the you guys are much more advanced in sounds compared to the USA.

Maybe one day I will have the pleasure of spinning in your well respected Country (UK).

On another note, I am curious to know were you may have heard my sounds. After all you do reside in the UK and I am all the way over here in USA.

Have we met before?

It's nice to think of the potential a night and a club / lounge like that can bring. Not only that, but to think of the type of sets these guys could possibly play might very well lend itself to some legendary evenings!!! For instance, Sasha's coming to Crobar on a Monday night, especially in lieu of the album he'd just released, I went praying it would be accompanied with an eclectic set where Sasha dug deep within his wax to pull some really inspired and thought-provoking tracks. "Unfortunately", his set I felt was a typical Friday/Saturday Peak hour type of set...it was slammin', of course, but I was hoping for something totally different, more representative of a vibe and style with which his album was handled...

This is what really intrigues and interests me with respect to the Thursday night weekly at Lola...because the venue itself lends itself to anything happening, from a relentless onslaught of breakbeats as displayed by Chris and Mike from hybrid last week to a chilled out intelligent Drum & Bass session to a groovin' house set...anything goes as far as that venue is concerned in my mind!!!

Oh...and a few additions that sparked my interest by some others that posted...

LOL @ "She obviously wants me"

If you saw me you would want me also.

; )

Have we met? I guess you can say that M8. I was the one who gave Paul Oakenfold your CD titled SOUNDS OF THE UNDERGROUND VOL 3 which my brother downloaded from Napster years ago. I was the one who went with Oakenfold to one of your local music stores while visiting during your Music Winter Conference asking for track 3 of your CD which is now know as PPK's - Resurrection.

So I guess you can say we have met.

Paul has his eyes on you and you have my ears.

Still LOL @ "She obviosly wants me"

Cheers

With all due respect maybe you can be the one to remind him that he has not kept up to his side of the trade. It was to my understanding that I would give him my personal copy of PPK and in return he would land me a copy of Team Progress - Symphonic Music. Sad to say that it has been more than two years now and still no response from his side nor the Perfecto Team. To make matter worst, I read a recent article posted on the Perfecto Records web site on how Oakenfold landed PPK - Resurrection during his visit to Russia. Sounds like a beautiful fairytale but it is far from the truth. Don't you think?

I do appreciate the fact that he has his eyes on me but being a music lover like him I am sure he can understand why I would make such a comment and why I would love for him to help me land Team Progress - Symphonic Music.

Never the less, thanks to you and your brother for introducing Oaky to my sounds.

PS: Napster huh? Incredible.

Respectfully,

Obby
