The barricades are already upTry to arrive at least 6:30 to be able to see anything, earlier if possible because NYPD will be everywhere. Best bet to get there would be the A, C, E, F, or B to W 4th Street, you'll be right in the middle. You can also take E, C to Spring or 14th Street. Can't really see much by 23rd, it'll be over at that point. Definintely dress up, there will be about 750,000 other people, mostly in costumes, watching with you.
