Just to fill in the gap so the person does not think I am ignoring them. Kinda like a fake laugh when you want to be polite to someone you dont really know. But there is only so much of that you can do before your jaw hurts. That is what makes LoL and Rofl and all that other shit better. It does not hurt to do it often. On the other hand. weyes Posted January 3 Report Share Posted January 3 i never use "lol," unless i'm making fun of it.when on cp, i use smileys (i tend to go a little bugnuts on the smileys), and when i'm on aim, i usually indicate that i think something's funny some other way. but i don't actually laugh out loud all that much, so when i say i'm laughing, i'm being sincere.
