obby Posted January 22 Report Share Posted January 22 Need help here guys. I am a local DJ from Miami so as you can imagine, great music is a must whenever I travel. I have yet to visit Las Vegas but now have the opportunity party there from May 15th through May 18th. I have booked my reservations at "The Palms" hotel which I was told is more for the young crazy crowd like me. Progressive House / Trance / Breaks is a must and also in my blood so it would be awesome if anyone can refer me to the best clubs that play my genre. I also want pass by any on the underground vinyl shops that they have there but as of yet I have no names of any of them. I am sure that the vinyl shops in Vegas may also have flyers with line ups for the weekend that I will be there.If any locals from Vegas feel that they can hook me up in any way. Very good choice on where to stay, ur just a 5 min cab ride to the strip!!!For starters, the two clubs in the palms are hot!!!!!! As for the music, im not sure if their up to miami standards, but they had lines outside like if pvd, or tennaglia was there!!! Club Ra is also supposed to be a dance club with techno trance, breaks, and house etc.... then their is 54 at the mgm, but i dont have an idea of the music format... Your best bet would be some strip club at the barbary coast hotel, across from the bellagio, and adjacent to the palms, where the hottest afterhours takes place. I forget the name, but ask any bartender of bouncer and im sure theyll send you in the right direction!!! Enjoy the ride pal!!!!!!PS the hard rock is also supposed to have a real trendy club called ------babies!!!! I cant remember too much as you can tell, my week in vegas felt like one long weekend!!!!!Little budda is also a must place to eat if you like thai and japanese food, MADD PONIES, and its at the palms!!!! Yeah ... check out Club Ra at the Luxor ... the pyramid/egyptian club ...Strongly suggest you to check out C2K at the Venetian ... which is the old Sands ... awesome hotel ... across from C2K they have this lounge / club ... forgot the name ... most nights there are good ...Utopia ... if it is still open is a must ... haven't been to Vegas in over a year ...Babies at the Hard Rock Hotel is also good ... actually it is the place with the best chances of getting a good crowd ... as most young people stay there ... their center bar in the middle of the casino is full with eye candy ...Studio 54 will have something going on ... but musically is not what you are looking for ... unless they have changed their formatt in the past year ...The afterhours at the Barbary Coast is really good ... you get the cream of the partiers in Vegas ... those who got into the wrong club and need to really party ... rafaelmendez Posted January 23 Report Share Posted January 23 Hey I went to Vegas for Oct 31 and it was a blast. Go to Rain its a nice club but the music sucks. Ghost BAr its an awesome lounge. The other lounge that is dope is Light @ The Bellagio. Dont go to Studio 54 its really bad. RA is the best club in Vegas. Take this number call this guy he is a DJ in RA @ the LUXOR. His name is Sean Patrick, dont worry he always put his name in the clubplanet messageboard thats how I got it but he can put you and how many people you want on the VIP Guest list for RA and one other club I forgot the name I think is Y2K something like that.
