Mystify
I put lotion on when I get out of the shower, but a couple hours later, my skin (especially my hands and legs) becomes EXTREMELY dry again ....Can anyone recommend a good moisturizer? nSyNcBaBy
vaseline intensive care for severly dry skin if not that, then i use bath and body works warm vanilla sugar... both work well so idk what the point is of using an intensive care lotion but... if the other kinds donrt work than maybe try that one. but i think the biggest problem is just the weather... eeeeeeeverybodys skin dries up like crazy when its this cold out so dont feel bad
tastyt
My hands were really bad last winter; there was one lotion by Neutrogena that worked really well. It was specifically a hand cream, I forget what exactly it was called, Intensive Moisture Hand Cream or something along those lines, lol. Just thought I could put in my 2 cents.......Its always tough on the skin especially during the cold months,..the skin takes a beating worse than in the summer. So to solve your problem, just use the 'Old wives" remedy for dry skin (which apparently, even Elizabeth Arden uses)... take a milk bath. Sounds weird, but sure works wonders. Just make sure milk of magnesia takes the first dip..you'll be amazed what 'dairy' products can do...Soak up and enjoy...

georgym
I also meant to say,,, sometimes it's the soap one uses that leaves the skin dry ( i know u might know this .)I have been using Irish spring, but it leaves my skin dry. Im gonna switch back to Dove, which never gave me dry skin

nifer
not only should you use a good lotion, but you should exfoliate too. lancome and estee lauder make good exfoliators. i use it about once a week (in the summer too) to get rid off all that dead dry skin thats on the surface. then when you put your lotion on, it doesnt have to try and pass through that extra top layer of dry skin. i used to use origins ginger body scrub (contains oils and sea salts) and ginger body souffle afterwards. works and smells well
edubs01
Being that I am a tanning addict my skin is dry all year round. I use Nivea and it works wonders.
