bobadrinker
Haha..In N Out is a old school burger joint in CA. They only have chains in the west coast - mainly CA and a few in Nevada. Ofcourse with a name like In N Out, it could be anything outside of Cali Originally posted by joeg if i'm working for a company called "in-n-out" they better be a porn manufacturer or something... Out the other... actually, the place is named as such 'cause it was california's first drive-thru hamburger stand . and part of in-n-out's whole spiel is that everything's fresh: they even cut the potatoes for the fries right in front of you. check out their site, it's pretty cool!http://in-n-out.com/
bobadrinker
why Weyes, for a New Yorker(?) you sure are knowledgeable about CA's history. But let's not forget the real ice cream milk shakes! I rate In N Out up there, above Fatburger and waaaaay above Micky Ds! For those of you that have not frequented this fine food establishment, I recommend the 4 x 4! ITs 4 pieces of beef and cheese. Just say "I want it Animal Style!" Just say "I want it Animal Style!" a 4x4 would definitely be too much for me; i can't even handle a double-double! but i always get mine animal style . man - i could really go for some right now... too bad the closest one is about a half-hour away .tequiza, do you know about jungle and protein styles, too? i talked about them in another thread recently. i seem to have in-n-out on the brain (no jokes, please ; we already covered those.). bobadrinker
mm...*slurp* drooling just thinking about them burgers..the crispy lettuce, fresh tomatoes, never frozen all beef patty *droool* So tempting too since the closest In N Out is a mere 15 min drive away I don't believe I've had protein or jungle style. I'm guessing protein style is all beef, and nothing but? Now I gotta go them...maybe when we have another CPer meetup, we can grab a double double afterwards? There goes my cholesterol..oh well...haha Originally posted by weyes a 4x4 would definitely be too much for me; i can't even handle a double-double! but i always get mine animal style . man - i could really go for some right now... too bad the closest one is about a half-hour away .tequiza, do you know about jungle and protein styles, too? i talked about them in another thread recently. i seem to have in-n-out on the brain (no jokes, please ; we already covered those.). There goes my cholesterol..oh well...haha protein is everything the same (pickles and all), except for the bun. the burger is wrapped in lettuce instead, which makes the thing really messy.and jungle is twice all of the vegetable matter: lettuce, tomatoes, onions - and maybe the pickles.and, cholesterol? what's that ?
