kramadas
Well, I just moved into my new office and got a new computer, but my "Program Files" directory is "read-only". FOr some reason when I try install AIM, I think it tries to install it in the "Program Files" directory...and of course it says only an adminstrator can install it because the fuckin "Program FIles" directory is read-only for me! Guest jroo
i guess you cant really do what i do, tell them you have to install something on your computer for work. a new program or something.... well, i guess in your field you're stuck, ... but if you get in good with an IT guy just ask for adminstrative rights to your computer. say you need to hook up a zip drive or something, and you dont want to email the files all over the place, good excuse if you guys use power point at all. those files are huge.
