I might be going to Toronto for Valentine's Day though, but if not...you're more than welcome to visit! mala Posted February 10 Report Share Posted February 10 Actually, I'm spending the bulk of my time in Canada at Niagara Falls. I was thinking about going to Toronto for the day just to see the city. It's about an 1.5 hour drive from Niagara. I'm traveling with my boyfriend, so I have to see if he is up for it. Oh, and you're going with a "friend"?....Sure, we believe you. mala Posted February 11 Report Share Posted February 11 I haven't been there either. I'm leaving early Friday morning and coming home on Sunday. I plan to visit the Falls on Saturday as well, since it will be my only full day there. Heh, maybe I will walk right past you, as we will be among the few idiots moronic enough to go to Niagara in February. If you see a girl in a black parka shivering and crying about her face freezing off, you've found me. I also plan on going to the casino since I suspect there isn't much nightlife in Niagara. (Not that I'm going there for nightlife.) You should check out the wineries in Niagara-on-the-Lake. I hear they are worth a visit. Be sure to drink some ice wine. sassa Posted February 17 Report Share Posted February 17 hey mala...how was niagara....we got there saturday afternoon, it was FREEEEEEZING ...(-16 celcius...not sure how much this is in farenheit, i think -3) and my hands were blue...the restaurant facing the falls sucked ....overcooked dry food..otherwise, it was truly beautiful...and there was too many people there,so didn't see a girl in a black parka...hope you had fun, i sure did. going back to the topic this thread is based on...gmccookny. did you make it to cali, and if so, how was it...
