bigsteve8 Posted February 19 Report Share Posted February 19 I thought lord of the flies was a good book about how society can fall apart for the civilized when all pretenses of reality are removed. . . right now I'm reading John Feinstein's "Big World, Small Game," a book about basketball throughout the world. One of my favorite books, just reread it a month ago, is called "Last Night a DJ Saved My Life" by Bill Brewster and Frank Broughton about the history of the DJs, about disco, clubs, radio, turntablism, etc. . . for those who don't know, early disco is a direct descendant of house. . . listen to Babe Ruth "The Mexican" or MFSB "Love is the Message."
