dog6 Posted March 16 Report Share Posted March 16 the story on Melvin Reese.....Melvin started dj-ing in 1995 at local clubs like Scala/Seven and party`s in his hometown Utrecht. In 1997 Melvin started as a resident dj at the popular afterhours clubs Latido and Lexion in Zaandam. In the same year it was for the first time that he played along DJ Jean during his welknown Madhouse Friday night at the iT. From then on Melvin`s career moved very fast, he started dj-ing regularly at the iT and sometimes played solo during absence of the resident dj`s. 1998 was the year Melvin started playing at several clubs and party`s al over Holland and Europe. After being resident at the Waakzaamheid for one year Melvin started producing for several labels like iT Records, Walnut and Rewind (Combined forces) and Vinyl Inside (Bpm dance). In the year 2000 he started producing with good friend and welknown producer G-Spott (N.R.G). This cooperation would lead to his latest release DJ Melvin pres. L.O.I.S.. This record is already a club hit and has huge crossover/radio potential and it is already released in South Africa. At this moment Melvin is working on a project with MC Pryme (King Bee) and Mac Zimms (Get wicked/Horny horns).
