nycmuzik
I dont think that many people in this country realize what actually happens in war....For example...I picked up a few papers today and all of them had the same thing in common...The Apache that was shot down by enemy fire was compared to the incidents that happened in the movie"Balck Hawk Down."....lol....The movie was based on a real event....Is it too hard to say that this incident and this war in general is very reminisent to what happened in Somalia during that engagment.....Soldiers and militia dressed as civilians....Urban warfare.....Captured US soldiers.....I can see public support for this war drop alot once we get to Baghdad and the major battles begin.... underwater
i think public opinion will remain high until this thing is through.....i see it dropping if we start killing civilians.....
starvingartist
I disagree. The majority of people are mostly concerned with the direct effects war has on them. With increasing prices, and the unstable economy I cant possible see the support decrease at this stage.
