Since you didn't see the game.. highlights:

Derek Jeter out in the 3rd inning with dislocated left shoulder..

Alfonso Soriano makes Yankee history becoming the 3rd Yankee ever to hit a grand slam on opening day..

And we won 8 - 4.

Being that I work behind computers all day. It may seem like I am posting all day. But I post in between work. And some times my PCs are busy doing work that I can't touch them. Like when they are pulling daily stats. Which takes time and my PCs run through a cycle called swing shift. Which it is generating daily reports and which again I can not tough either of the 3 PCs until they are done. This is when I do the most of my posting.

There will be alot of good to come out of Soriano. And personally if he can stay healthy he will break alot of records... Yankees did alot of good with him. And I remember his first impression to people was that he could not take a pitch and would never walk. What was it his 39th at bat that he finally walked once...

As for Jeter. It really sucks for him. He came out of a season that was not so good. And his numbers have been deteriorating over the past few years. And then this happens... :(

I remember that as well.. and then I remember that very same season Mr. Swing-with-all-I-got had a very important, beautiful homer in the WS..
