kken Posted January 31 Report Share Posted January 31 btw kken, what is a good or decent sushi joint in DC?personally, i like sushi taro in east dupont. unfortunately, so does rest of dc so it's always crowded. primte to get there during weekdays is before 7pm. reservations a must for weekends.sushi-ko is upper wisconsin... it's pretty good, however it got redesigned like a year ago and now it's all froufrou fancy. so i don't like it that much these days.tako grill in bethesda is really good, if a tad expensive. but they have all this non-traditional stuff (well non-traditional for US) that i love, grilled bar food type stuff.i've been meaning to try this place in bethesda as well (as well as that goddamn lazy japanese market) called aji nippon. suppose to be a small shop that is really good, always packed with japanese nationals which gotta be a good sign.
