We chatted w/ the Richster for a bit....but that was it. Lottie rulez! I'll def break my 3 week sabatcle and come out for that one. After winning three Dancestar awards at WMC 2004 including 'Best International DJ', 'Best Use Of Music In a TV Commercial' for Motorola and for an open air party where he played at, Summerstage, in Central Park, NYC which was voted America's Best Dance Event last summer. Evidently, the Vorsprung Dyk Technik is still pushing boundaries with no signs of slowing down at all! Van Dyk also took an award for 'Best International DJ' on stage at the TMF awards in Holland earlier last month, while readers of US' BPM Magazine also voted him 'Best DJ' from abroad. Van Dyk is popular in the US and became resident DJ of the Rock The Vote Tour across the US. The tour just kicked off in Atlanta last month and Van Dyk will also visit New York for the sequel of the award winning party in Central Park this summer. Made Events in Central Park presents Paul Van Dyk will take place on June 25th. Tickets are $37 or $42 at the door. No worries for his fans in Germany as Van Dyk also supports his local fans by organizing monthly Vandit nights at Casino in Berlin.
