Roddick had been partying with tennis legend Pete Sampras and linked up with Hilton and her sister Nicky after they opened a new restaurant at the Bellagio, Fix. The New York Post reported Roddick and Hilton kissed on Saturday night and were part of a party that included actor Leonardo DiCaprio. Just a day earlier, Hilton told shoppers at a Los Angeles jeans store she was in love with Philippoussis, that he had dumped singer Delta Goodrem because she was boring and then produced an SMS picture of a half-naked Philippoussis on her phone. Yesterday a spokeswoman for Light said there was no sign of Philippoussis on Saturday night and only confirmed the billionaire socialite was there with Nicky. In Los Angeles yesterday Paris Hilton's rep Gina Hoffman said she did not know anything about the kiss. Earlier when asked about the Hilton-Philippoussis relationship, Ms Hoffman said they were friends and "they have mutual friends, that is how they met."
