mrstony Posted April 24 Report Share Posted April 24 apparently Murk (both ralph and oscar) are booked to spin at this club in philly called Transit this saturday, until 5am. i just got the space34 flyer in the mail, and it says that Oscar will be spinning, as usual, at Space. whats the deal? if he's not gonna show, philly people should know. mrstony Posted April 24 Author Report Share Posted April 24 the club where its being held is called Transit, its not really club anymore, just a venue where they bring in a lot of big names. they stop serving at 3, then again at 7. they are open until 10am this saturday for Murk. the philly scene is pretty weak now, Shampoo was awesome back in the day, now its pretty bad. Delaware ave is complete ghetto trash now. Deco is still there, the crowd has gone downhill there too, lots of south philly trash. the better afterhours clubs are Tribecca and Emerald city (where tsettos recently spun). Most people go to Old City, where its mainly nice bars and lounges. Tsettos spins down there pretty often now compared to other years...But I wouldn't miss murk, but besides that, I'd drive to the Taj on a sat night... mad pigeons up in there:eek: Play some craps and black jack till 5am then hit the Casbah... place has sooooooooooooooooooooooo much hot ass in there...finish it off with some studio or tru or what ever is going on there now... mrstony Posted April 24 Author Report Share Posted April 24 haha. yeah, you were around when the scene in philly was decent.casbah is too mainstream, Studio is horrible now. word is the new casino, Borgada or something, is supposed to the new hot spot for the summer in AC.i would love to check out Murk, but family obligations sunday morning wont allow it. my boyfriend and i are heading back down to Sobe though May 10th for Lawler, so im not too sad about it, plus, i dont know if i wanna hear Murk anywhere outside Miami anyway, its just not the same!when are you heading back up to the jersey shore? tempts opens this weekend, surf club is the 4th of may --cannot wait!!!
