FOR REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS:

To Whom It May Concern:

In the interest of securing gainful employment after my term (or, God willing, terms!) as President of the United States are concluded, I offer this, my resume, for your consideration:

Shattered the record for biggest annual deficit in history;

First year in office set the all-time record for most days on vacation by any president in US history;

After taking the entire month of August off for vacation, presided over the worst security failure in US history;

Cut unemployment benefits for more out of work Americans than any president in US history;

Appointed more convicted criminals to administration positions than any president in US history;

Signed more laws and executive orders amending the Constitution than any president in US history;

Presided over the biggest energy crises in US history and refused to intervene when corruption was revealed;

Cut healthcare benefits for war veterans;

Set the all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously take to the streets to protest a sitting American President, shattering the record for protest against any person in the history of mankind;

Dissolved more international treaties than any president in US history;

First president in US history to have all 50 states of the Union simultaneously go bankrupt;

Presided over the biggest corporate stock market fraud of any market in any country in the history of the world;

First president in US history to order a US attack and military occupation of a sovereign nation;

Created the largest government department bureaucracy in the history of the United States;

Set the all-time record for biggest annual budget spending increases, more than any president in US history;

First president in US history to have the United Nations remove the US from the human rights commission;

First president in US history to have the United Nations remove the US from the elections monitoring board;

All-time US (and world) record holder for most corporate campaign donations;

Biggest life-time campaign contributor presided over one of the largest corporate bankruptcy frauds in world history (Kenneth Lay, former CEO of Enron Corporation);

Spent more money on polls and focus groups than any president in US history;

First president to run and hide when the US came under attack(and then lied saying the enemy had the code to Air Force 1);

Took the biggest world sympathy for the US after 911, and in less than a year made the US the most resented country in the world(possibly the biggest diplomatic failure in US and world history);

With a policy of 'disengagement' created the most hostile Israeli-Palestine relations in at least 30 years;

First US president in history to have a majority of the people of Europe (71%) view his presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and stability;

First US president in history to have the people of South Korea more threatened by the US than their immediate neighbor, North Korea;

Changed US policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded government contracts;

Set all-time record for number of administration appointees who violated US law by not selling huge investments in corporations bidding for government contracts;

Failed to fulfill his pledge to get Osama Bin Laden 'dead or alive' (pending)

Failed to capture the anthrax killer who tried to murder the leaders of our country at the United States Capitol building. After 18 months he has no leads and zero suspects;

In the 18 months following the 911 attacks he successfully prevented any public investigation into the biggest security failure in the history of the United States;

Removed more freedoms and civil liberties for Americans than any other president in U.S. history;

Hopefully, you will consider hiring me.

Very truly yours,

George W. Bush

SHALL WE RE-ELECT HIM OR SHALL WE ACCEPT THIS RESUME AND HIRE HIM FOR ANOTHER JOB?

Do you feel any "safer" from terrorism............and please don't blow smoke up my ass.

They didn't find WMD, they didn't find Saddam, and they didn't find Osama Bin Laden. Sure, our military is great at setting 3rd world countries on fire from the air and incinerating them back to the dark ages, but when it comes down to getting specific objective achieved, I'd say were batting about .150, if even that.

Like vicman said.....................still waiting on that WMD evidence.

Yeah, Clinton did not fuck this country? Hmmm, how conveniently we forget about all of the following:

How, in exchange for campaign cash, the Clinton administration cleared the way for U.S. companies to help China improve its strategic nuclear missiles -- targeted at American cities

How Clinton wrote a letter to a Silicon Valley executive explaining how export controls would be loosened to enable technology transfers to China

How America’s unequalled electronic intelligence services -- our first line of defense -- were "hollowed out" under the Clinton administration, even as China's espionage operations against us were growing rapidly

How with American technology, the Chinese developed a Chinese satellite launcher that can be converted into a multiple-warhead missile launcher

How the Clinton administration repeatedly ignored Chinese violations of nuclear non-proliferation agreements. How one top official intervened to prevent U.S. sanctions against China for covert missile sales to Pakistan

How the Administration relaxed export controls that allowed U.S. sales of supercomputers to Russia and China -- systems that can and probably are being used to design nuclear bombs

How the administration gave aid and comfort to a handful of corrupt ex-communists who, far from modernizing Russian socialism, turned one of the world's most resource-rich countries into a bankrupt, Mafia-dominated kleptocracy that stole upwards of $150 billion in Western aid

How Clinton let himself be bamboozled into sending Russia tens of millions of dollars for weapons-dismantling programs -- which Moscow then used to pay for its nuclear missile buildup

How Clinton has shortchanged vital military and intelligence programs by diverting some $80 billion a year from defense to domestic programs that reward corporations and political donors

How the administration saddled the armed forces with more nonvital and nonmilitary missions, while drastically cutting budget and personnel

How Clinton appointees in the Energy Department severely undermined U.S. nuclear weapons programs

How Clinton's decision to halt underground nuclear testing, combined with his ideological aversion to strategic defense, threatened the viability of our strategic nuclear deterrent

How Secretary of State Madeleine Albright deceived Congress about North Korea’s nuclear buildup

How Albright’s deputy (and long-time Clinton crony) Strobe Talbott scuttled an intelligence program warning of the growing threat of Russia's nuclear arms

And on and on and on and on. . .

Yeah Clinton was great for this country. :rolleyes:

R U Mad??

They are finding evidence pointing toward a massive WMD program every day.

The United States has arrested close to 50% of the Alqeada leadership including Sheik Mohammed who was the master mind behind the 911 and in charge of cell placement around the world and guess what pal he is talking.....

do you hear yourself...?

"They are finding evidence pointing towards a massive WMD program every day."

Do you realize how stupid this comment is...and what if all this supposed "evidence" is just pointing towards something that you wish they would find...come on, it is going to be obvious they have weapons, but it seems as if they are compelling, almost forcing them to have these weapons by the end of their little investigation, to prove to the world that they were wrong and that indeed, the US was right in invading iraq.

:blown: some people, i guess, are just more comfortable disillusioning themselves rather than facing the truth...

lets say your right, and no WMD are found... after seeing the mass graves of 15,000 + people and the torture chambers ect... do you still feel this war was justified?

you all hope we don't find anything to prove your point, but you do agree he "had" them... where do you think they are?? hmmm...

your main problem really is your hatred of g. bush... you set yourself up to be right if everything goes wrong... its sad that you're gonna be on the wrong side of history...

i never once implied that i was in favor of saddam still being in power. that being said, what bush did in invading iraq (graves or not) was STILL ILLEGAL under certain points of international law. it was not justified. his actions were wrong. of COURSE saddam's crimes are going to exposed, of course he's done a lot of shit,that was one of the excuses bush used in invading iraq. saddam was not going to be in power forever, and despite the fact that iraq does not have a ruler anymore, what is this new imposed interim government supposed to do for the people? nothing. have you seen any news reports of what's going on in iraq? looters and people getting sick from drinking bad water and people accusing the government of attacking civilians. come on. are you really trying to say that they are justified? how many examples do we need before we wake up and realize that we are fucking with a lot of people around the world mentally, physically, and psychologically? enough is enough. the US cannot continue to play Big Brother...

If they do stop fucking with third world countries that can't protect themselves than where will american economy be and their status as most powerful country in the world?

Gotta get what america needs... needed oil... well... look Saddam is evil and its a small country, should be no prob to invade and distroy... only took two weeks too!!!

There are so many countries in the world who have leaders as bad as Saddam, but they do not hold any financial gain for usa.

I'm sure another country that held as much power as usa does would most likely do the same thing. Unfortunetly power can be abused and missused... its just a matter of how much missuse the rest of the world can take.

I know most of the world sees what usa has done as illegal based on international laws but they are powerless until they unite. which is difficult to do. And I might sound selfish when i say this, but i don't want to see them unite and start taking actions against usa because that would mean my life will be more difficult than it already is... Unfortunetly the actions of the government directly effect the people of this country.

The question is can you??

You're posting on a damn messageboard for christs sake....Spending a few months over the summer in a third world country doesnt make you an expert....Go live there for a few years and deprive yourself of this lifestyle and maybe then your arguement would have some validity....There aint one person on this board that can say they know what it feels like to live like those people....We're no experts....

As far as this war being illegal goes...Bullshit....Anyone that questions the legality of this war is a moron....Lets see what we have....Opressed people....Brutal dictator.....Violated terms of cease-fire....Seems like a good case to go to war.....And if this was bad in your eyes than I guess you must have been proud of what happened in Rowanda....I mean the US didnt step in and all....The only thing that happened was a few hundred thousand people getting slaughtered....

i never said i was an expert. i don't think anyone here can say they are.

that was my point...:blank:

and your argument doesn't hold up, there is mugabe in zimbabwe, the house of saud, the chinese government, they're opressive and corrupt no? why the fuck is the US sitting on their hands regarding them??? interesting isn't it.

bottom line: their reasoning for entering the war was not right. saddam had to be toppled but it was not this country's moral obligation to the world to do so. since when do they give a damn about the poor iraqi people...they've been shitted on for 12 years, if not dating back to the european fucks who landed in the middle east and carved up their land...

this stuff goes so far back and involves so much shit that it's almost useless to try and argue about it at this point...
