groovefire Posted June 2 Report Share Posted June 2 Nice day out too, figures. Friday wrap-up:i/d was slow all night. Unfortunate. It’s just too difficult to keep people in there when they can walk 20 feet and be in Avalon, regardless of who’s DJing the big room, it seems. We kept it nice and housey all night, I swear our tunes were better than JP’s, at least for the 10 minutes of him I listened too. But we cannot compete with that sound system in there. Still amazes me how good tunes crank in there.Risque @ Vision wasn’t much better either. The venue itself is cool, especially the main room, but attendance just wasn’t there. Oh well.This week, we have 33 on Tuesday, 711 on Thursday and Studio 3 in Newport on Saturday. Let’s hope this week fairs better than last.
