cintron Posted June 25 Report Share Posted June 25 simple - the oil in the gearbox usually just spashes around, and its not pumped, unlike an auto tranny. the transmission case itself is what holds the oil - there's going to be a drain plug and a filler plug on it somewhere. [bolts, not plugs.]find out where they are and go get a pan ready.your owners manual should list how many quarts you'll need and what type.dont forget the rear diff oil too Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

barslut Posted June 26 Report Share Posted June 26 If its an auto the turbo has a drain plug and the non turbo doesnt , you have to remove the non turbos tranny pan to change fluid and you refill the fluid through the dipstick. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
