:):):) yay!!!!!!!!!! i can bring two of my friends!!!!!!!! yay!!!!!!! ok, that was from crank yankers. i dont know about the dorms yet. i dont know what im gonna do about that. i found a property manager to take care of my townhouse. so im prepared to move out. the dorms are booked right now, and they cant garuntee me anything, and i really dont want to live with 4 other prepubescent 17 year olds out of the house for the first time. they have 5 person rooms, not suits , rooms. but i think the dorms will be easiest. no driving, not worried about parking. i want a systems engineering degree, should be easy enough, its all the same shit i do now. or electrical engineer.

Plenty of GMU-area townhouse roommate possiblities... dc.craigslist.org is good place to look. In fact, you could move into my room when I move out lol.

However, I said it before, being a commuter student does suck.

I did EE. Don't do it. Do Systems. EE is a huge pain in the ass. So much math. You'll have to take Calculus 3. I didn't even know there was a Calc 3 until I got to college. EEs are one of the only majors that have to take it. It SUCKS.

yeah, thats what i figured about EE, more intensive. systems is more broad and more of what we do here anyway. anyway, i'll be set with a great job.

Really? I loved calculus 3. Oh the joys of vector calculus.

I love math. I'm computer science and I had to take it, with pleasure of course.

I only utterly despised discrete math and calculus I.

systems engineering = systems analysis = software engineering are all a joke. It's just project management. They're fancy names for people who don't know how to program or suck at math. We cs majors laugh at them.

you're gay, software is gay, and program management is where its at.

programing is too tedious. i took it in high school, computer sci and visual basic, got A's in both. no lie. its just gay. but, seriously, what type of job do you have now with a cs degree? just a programmer?

#include <iostream.h>

#include <stdlib.h>

int main()

{

cout << " hater! program managers are the first to get laid off when a company goes down. sure they make lots of $$$, but they take the fall when things happen badly. They way companies are now, the job market is quite bad for them unless u'r good. " << endl;

cout << " programming isn't tedious if u like it. I love it, especially C++, give me ptrs, inheritance, etc ANY day with a cherry on top. I got an A in cs 310 at GMU (only 1 other person got an A in my class). :D (brag brag) Java is lots of fun too. didn't like matlab.

operations research...now that is tops. " << endl;

cout << "vb sux. I do database design and programming now. & actionScript in my spare time. " << endl;

return (0);

}

HHAHAHAHA, i think shady just busted a nut!! yeah, see that stuff aint for me. i see what you're saying about manager's getting laid off, it could happen, but ive never seen it. ive been the in real world since 2000, after leaving the army in '00. seen a lot of programers let go. managers still chilling though. you can be successful in any field if you really love it. so, there are many ways to the top, i want the easiest, fastest, cant blame me for that, can you? I want to be VP or CEO one day. there's room here in God's green earth for all of us. i know that the earth is mostly blue, but i was just quoating the old cliche.

how long have you been programing? are you out of school yet?

pretty cool that you went to gmu, what did you think about it?
