I love House, Techno, Trance, Tech Trance, Tech House, Electro, some DnB, Tribal House, Tech Electro...etc. The only thing I cannot stand in a club is Hip hop, you cannot dance to that no matter how hard you try..you end up doing the booty jack and that to me is not dancing. beatfriek Posted July 17 Report Share Posted July 17 i think most of the love/hate drama btween us is due to alot of new jacks who need to express their love and hate to the new found genre's that they are into for the moment!!!!Since there is sooooo many diverse and different sounding beats, we must label them for one another!!!!we as dance music lovers are inclined to label certain dj's styles to give a listener an idea of what they are in for.... i personally have never posted N E thing about hating trance or house etc....Sure, i dont get the same feeling i get when tiesto drops a tune, as when oscar does... or anybody else for that matter, due to different styles.... everyone has got them except the posers!!!!We should either learn to love, or respect, or finally not let others opinions piss us off!!!! mrmovement33 Posted July 18 Report Share Posted July 18 i enjoy all types of music as long as it's mixed smoothly and presented with great energy and vibe. but, u r right music is what brings us all together. it's all gravy. mauro picotto is one of the best dj's i've ever heard. top 20 for sure. but he bangs you away with all types of genres. word has it that he is notorious for blowing speakers every time he mixes @ space.
