lomenus Posted August 5 Report Share Posted August 5 sutogame hey dude did you pick deportivo Tru but they got Diego Tristan who was "el Picchi"in 2001/2002 WITH Depor in la liga!!Me thinks that Deportivo La Coruna has been the most underated team in Europe the last 4 yrs...They won La Liga, La copa del rey ( IN madrid, on Real s BIRTHDAY!). n are perinial participants in the CHampionsLeague.. besides last year, they always go intothe quater-finals (just like Man Utd, the "biggest" team in theworld :laugh: )With Tristan n Walter Pandiani scoring goals,Victor pulling the strings with his creativity (HELLO Man Utd),Manuel Pablo the best right back in Europe leading the defense,n a healthy Molina back in goal, they might"sneak" past everyone to win La Liga again!I LOVE Barca n want them to win everyhting,but I am a great admirer of what Javier Irureta has beenable to accomplish.....vicman tiene razon... vicman Posted August 5 Report Share Posted August 5 the thing with deportivo is that i just dont think they have the deapth necessary in the squad to head into the 3 competitions. i think they will be in a position to take the league, but they have been known to have hicups in the last few weeks of the season wheneverything is being decided. but hey, if it was up to me, i prefer deportivo winning the league than barcelona or real madrid.of course i can still dream and hope everyone except atletico sucks and atletico winning the league.
