On Sunday August 31st, We have to guests from Orlando making their debut at Jazid. You may know Dustin from his guest slots on Proton radio for 'Particles' or for his recent mix for Daniel Mnookin's show Tic Tech Toe. Dustin plays something I consider unclassifiable other than just saying 'good music' but he likes to call it unique, techy, mixtures of deep house and techno. He will be playing the early slot providing us with some amazing textures of sound and clicks and bleeps. Next up playing the late slot is Maya Amack you may know her from her Bonus Beats show on Proton. Expect something funky and techy and housey. Should be a great night and with no work on a Monday a very messy one.

what an amazing night of music .. something definitely different for those of you who there .. we heard everything from minimal techno, deep techno , clicks and bleeps and some serious groove from mr dustin who played some really cool records and set the stage for maya who picked up where he left off and kept that groove going later she brought it up to a techier level. The people at jazid really enjoyed it and after they each played their respective sets for 2 hours they tagged for yet another 2 hours. I didnt really expect this but the crowd was eating it up and even dancing .. dustin cloesd with underworld's born slippy original mix and that was our night .. really fun times and really great music thanks to everyone who came out those of you who didnt really missed out on some great music but have no fear i will have them back in the future as well ... next week the return of domingo castillo to the jazid turntables i hope to see you all there.
