Smart Roadster Twin Turbo!

this car was developed by both Mercedes and Brabus.

it features a twin turbocharged 1.4 liter V6 producing 170hp and 159lb-ft of torque (regular Roadsters have 84hp turbo 3cylinder engines)

its rear engined, and rear wheel drive. it has a 5-speed sequential greabox with paddle shifters on the steering wheel.

0-60 time is estimated to be "under 6 seconds" and a top speed of 141mph

to keep weight down, the A/C, insulation, and sound system were taken out. the power-glass targa roof was ditched for removable aluminum t-tops. the car also lacks power sterring and traction control. curb weight is 1890 punds, just 50 pounds more than the regular Roadster.

According to CAR, so far 10 have been produced for "promotional" reasons. Smart and Brabus have not committed to anything yet, but then again both companies denied the car's existence until last month. they may still see very limited production (between 200 and 1000) at a price around $40k.

when i find a pic i'll post it

:D
