I guess you don't get what I'm saying....its not about how many people you put in a club to make it an underground feel ;)

You have never been a "loyal customer" or "friend" to Space or anyone else in your life. I am not asking for your "sympathy" and I really don't give a Space alley rat's ass if you "support" us or not. If I knew that this is what it took to have you not come to the club anymore I would have personally ordered the DEA raid and all the other crap thats happened to us a long time ago. My father was right..."there is always light at the end of the tunnel."

PS. I am glad you like the "nocturnal" space and I hope you like fish. I have always wanted to own a sushi restaurant in Downtown.

Sayonara baby.

Yeah Saleena - don't go bad mouthing space errrrrr 34 errrrr pacha errrrr club space errrrrr LP . . . .

The old SPACE definitely had that underground feel that is lacking at disney-space. I think that has been a major gripe for many.

From cooljunkie:

Space Is Back!

e-mail this story to a friend...

So it seems that the final chapter of the Club Space / Space34 / Space saga is upon us...

With the closing parties, and post-closing parties done, Space announced this week that they would continue to treat us to the finest electronic talent and keep the doors open.

Here's Louis Puig again with the final word...

Space is back and kicking and it will stay as long as it is needed by our beloved customers, employees and friends. We thank you for being so patient and supportive through the past months of media slandering and bashing and our phase of business uncertainty and difficulties.

We apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused you. The fact is that these are uncertain and difficult times for all businesses, particularly the dance music and night club industry.

Now more than ever we need to unite and make a stand in support of our beliefs and way of life. This is not the time or the place to shut down our doors and surrender to media sensationalism and objectionable pressure. We refuse to bend or give in.

We have chosen instead to continue to lead in the fight for the right to party responsibly and lawfully. We will continue to bring world class DJs and dance music to our supporters and we will continue to do our best to entertain you. This is what we love and this is what we do.

Join us this Saturday in celebrating our return and commitment to everything that is Space. As always we will provide you with complimentary admission and drinks from 10 pm to midnight. We welcome you as our guest and look forward to your presence. Our house is your house.

I liked the old Space, don't get me wrong, but I'm a fan of the new building as well. Big sounds need big rooms :) ...
