The nightlife trade publication; Club Systems does this award thingy every year.

Here's the nominees for this year:

Also - Abaya made the lineup in the people's choice division!!! The editor of the mag emailed me... so, like, thanks people... whoever you are!

I think there's gonna be a voting thing eventually, but no matter what, it just feels good to be part of something thats recognized and that you've worked hard at. Go James Ayalon, go Astro&Glyde...

The Club World Awards - also known as the "disco globes" after their mirrorball trophies - are meant to honor excellence in the nightlife industry. They were launched last year as part of The Club Show, the country's first trade show for nightlife professionals, and the official show of industry-favorite magazine Club Systems International. It includes an extensive exhibit hall, a full schedule of in-depth panel discussions, and six high-concept evening events. This year's awards will be handed out in a private ceremony on February 4, 2004 in Las Vegas, during the two-day Show. An independent panel of qualified judges (which will be revealed in

mid-December) determines the winners.
