Guest saleen351
This is where the scene is going... These are like those Whitstle parties, this is nothing but a rave designed to attract the younger drug crowd and I hope the djs, promters, club owners and clubbers all get arrested... This hurts the scene.. BTW WHAT JACKASS DJ WOULD WANT TO SPIN AT THIS IF THEY WANT TO MAKE IT BIG TIME? YOU HURT YOUR REP BY SPINING AT THESE RAVES...This is why the rave act was inacted, if you club promoters and djs have some sort of responsiblity they wouldn't need laws that could kill legitimate clubs...You all should be ashamed of yourselves for being involved in this party.. I for one am extremely ashamed of this atrocity.
raincry
the line up last year was better....imoin any event, i'll be missing it cuz i'm going to see sasha.good luck to you, sean!
lyrik
There's one big difference with this party as opposed to the other simliar "parties" that have been going off lately........this party is 18+ and the others were ALL AGES w/full liqour. I say let em' have their party as long as the under 18's are not mixing with the crowd until 4am or later.

Guest ringmastercrew
if all those clubs were so clean they wouldnt get raidedby performing at raves a dj hurts his chances of making it big? just cuz the scene in florida doesnt mix doesnt mean its that way everywhere.. LA, San Fran, NYC.. those have huge club and rave scenes.. and the tops dj's across the globe play within both crowdsit amazes me when people are so closed minded.. do your shit.. get off on it.. and let other people do their thingif you were all abou the music you wouldnt give a shit one way or the other

Space will always have drugs, but they don't advertise them or incourage their patrons to do them like this candyland. And big name djs won't play raves unless they can't get a gig.... Raves=career ender if you want to play nyc or miami...

Guest brwneydtrouble
Saleen, quit being such an asshole.....did you even notice where its being held? Its at X-it, a venue that is not quite a "rave-friendly" place. All the DJ's mentioned have damn good track records for doing their thing, not compromising the integrity of their music for no one....This year's Candyland will be a little different in that its a local affair. The emphasis is on the music and local talent. Actually, quite a few advance tickets have already been sold.

ogmiami
This one doesn't bother me for a few reasons1.) It is 18+. At 18 you're an adult and can vote or join the Army. Why shouldn't you be able to party and dance?2.) They're staying away from advertising the "ravey" things like EXTREME VISUALS, MASSAGE ROOMS, FREE GLOWSTICKS. 3.) These guys have been throwing these parties for years and the brand "Candyland" is too well known to just drop.As for the RAVE ACT, it really has nothin g to do with age. Every club or event is under the same pressure.

Look at the bush on the flyer, hmm very simular to weed if you ask me..This event is nothing about music and all about drugs. "candy" has been a drug term for decades... walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, then it must be a rave!
