Bling, you're the only person I know who could go to an event where the place floods with toilette water, two of the headline DJs don't even play and is the place is mostly empty....and still write a review that makes it look like the party of the year.

People can say whatever they want about cheese and classics but there is no denying the vibe in that room Wednesday night! The energy was incredible. The classic, epic trance was everywhere. Everyone was smiling and having a goof. Great party and very touching for me that so many of the old Shadow heads made it out. We're definately doing this again soon!!!

The honest answer: I had planned to do this at Nocturnal and include a lot more of the old Shadow Peeps. After I left and started to work @ Space, we decided to go ahead and do the reunion on the 23rd but it had gotten so late that we decided to tone it down a little. David is a great guy and I would have loved to have him on for this party but we wanted to give GA, Talla and Edgar longer sets. I promise this wont be the last one and that David, Ariel Baund, Dave Ralph and others who were part of Shadow will be included.

We're all really excited about this night. Big thanks to Carmel and the Creations crew for making this possible. The combination of Aquabooty, Creations, Biz and the Nocturnal Terrace should make this one magical.

Dave's actually flying in from a gig in Peru to hang out and do this gig. If anyone knows how to keep a madman from Liverpool in control, I'm open for suggestions.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. And for those who have negative comments, we'll take it as constuctive commentary. It was a real pleasure to kick off the club with the Aquabooty vibe as well as all the other groups who put it together with us on short notice...Contagious Musiq and Gil Alfaro. Thanks for putting up with the small problems that come with an opening. There are still a lot of unfinished things and by next week the place will be even better. Tonight should be something crazy.
