Selector Moldy (Offshore Recordings, Thermal Recordings, Factory188.com)

Selector Moldy first heard Drum & Bass via the internet broadcast The Betalounge in 1997. By 1998, he had taken up collecting and mixing records as well as producing tracks, and launched the internet broadcast Factory188 while living in his hometown of Portland, Maine. In the Summer of 2000, he moved to Boston, Massachusetts and Factory188 followed him there in the Spring of 2001. His live program on Factory188 reached listeners in locations including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, the United States and the United Kingdom. He has played at Boston area parties Elements, The Rinse, and Runnin' (where he held a residency). In June of 2003 he accepted a residency in New York City at the Offshore Recordings party, Push. He moved to New York City in September of 2003 and has played at area parties Acupuncture, Camouflage, and Recess. He currently has tracks forthcoming on Offshore Recordings and Thermal Recordings.
