deepfridays Posted January 22 Report Share Posted January 22 I'm in the Insurance biz in Tampa.....and Florida in general is outragous.......Miami/Dade, Broward & Palm Bch are the 3 highest counties in the state ...then Hillsborough & Pinellas (Tampa/St. Pete)........make sure u get um (uninsured motorist) coverage....NO ONE in S. I got nailed by a pack of Hatians in an SUV once, and they were so adamant about "not telling anyone"...my car was fucked up anyway (those of you who know me have seen it...) at the time, and I didn't care, but these people were scared, since they probably didn't have coverage. globalgroover Posted January 22 Author Report Share Posted January 22 thanks for the info.i was talking to some colleagues and they confirmed it is normal -some extra coverage necessary that is not mandatory elsewhere.it's just a lot of costs that add-up here make it not so inexpensive relative to the new york....especially since i live in south beach and everything is so bloody tempting.up north, the cold was a definite incentive to keep yer ass at home during the winter.-g.g Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
