georgym Posted January 24 Report Share Posted January 24 My girl has been freakin out lately cuz she works for the UN, and the UN only signs by contract, which is annoying b/.c you're constantly looking for new jobs and worrying if you get one.Now she's worried about where she will be 5-10yrs down the road. Although i think it's important to think like that, i also think you gotta stay focused on the present. DO the best you can, work hard, and save for the future. All i can say is that i think i am slowly filtering out what i want out of a job. Its a bitch...some have it easier than other jsut like anything else. Destiny Posted January 24 Report Share Posted January 24 Take it day by day.I only went for a year of college, and the fields I majored in, its not even my career.The key is to NOT STRESS. Where is that going to get you?? It'll just add to the worry and not help you make any decisions. All you need to do is look into what you feel that you want to do...have a first choice, then several backup options.
