M3 and District Soul present:

Five:DNBsessions

a Rinse Magazine and DCDNB.org sponsored event

THE RAM RAIDERS TAKEOVER

Arriving straight from the 2004 Winter Music Conference; heavy with what’s sure to be sleeves full of the years hottest new tunes, Hornchurch's Ram Records has managed to remain one step ahead of it's contemporaries since it's inception in 1992. Making an exclusive stop in the US before returning to the UK, we are honored to welcome RAM RAIDERS:

ANDY C [Ram Records] - UK

Having thoroughly conquered the worlds of DJing, label-running and producing, and holding down “Best Drum and Bass DJ” for three solid years at the Knowledge Drum and Bass Awards, Andy C needs no introduction. He's the king of clubs, and the lord of dubs. Join us as we welcome drum & bass' favorite son, Andy C, back from a long hiatus from Washington DC, and to Club Five for his first venue appearance.

SHIMON [Ram Records] - UK

“You cannot mention the name Shimon without the images of his long time compatriots, Andy C and Ant Miles, instantly filtering into the same picture. Although the outline of Shimon is often blurred by the notoriety of his Ram Trilogy clique, he remains one of the primary colors of the Ram Records rainbow, and is very much an individual.” – Drum and Bass Arena

RED ONE [Ram Records] - UK

Just like when you were in school, red always stood for danger. That same fact still stands the Red One purveys musical qualities that are nothing short of being 100% lethal.

MOVING FUSION [Ram Records] - UK

Moving Fusion made their first contribution to D&B back in 1998 when they stormed the scene with their first release, 'Turbulence' on Andy C's RAM imprint. Since then, they have released a succession of dance floor anthems, dropping their debut LP 'Start Of Something' in 2002, and out now is the Moving Fusion remix EP w/ tracks from their debut LP.

Along w/

With collaborations in the studio and a new CD in the works, Bobby is taking soulful drum and bass to a level of its own. If you haven’t already, make sure to get your copy of Perpetual Motion tonight which was 1 of 7 mixes just recognized in URB magazine’s Mix-It Best of 2003.

MC ARMANNI [substitution | Gasm | Platinum | Five:DNBsessions] - PHI

Always bringing dnb energy to a level all in it’s own. Lyrical mastermind, Armanni Reign, takes to the mic again to host this special evening at Club Five.
