Tiësto TO RELEASE NEW ARTIST ALBUM

‘JUST BE’

ON NETTWERK AMERICA JUNE 1

Launching with “Love Comes Again†featuring BT as the first single

With only five years on the international club scene under his belt, TIËSTO--set to release of his new artist album JUST BE June 1 on Nettwerk America--has earned every possible accolade as a DJ. He’s headlined the biggest solo show by any DJ in history (25,000 people in Holland, May 2003), won the #1 spot on DJ Magazine’s prestigious ‘Top 100 DJs’ readers poll both for 2002 and 2003 and is now one of the most influential talents who fills clubs, not to mention stadiums, across the globe.

TIËSTO’s second artist album Just Be--the follow-up to his 2002 debut artist album In My Memory--stays true to the club roots that have elevated him to superstar status worldwide proves once again he’s also a producer of the highest caliber in the electronic realm. Whether on his own or in collaboration with BT, Josh Gabriel of Motorcycle, Geert Huinink (Magik Journey), Kirsty Hawkshaw, Joanna Lloyd or Aqualung, the lavish songs on Just Be build on the powerful and epic sounds which have garnered him adoration in the hearts of his millions of fans everywhere.

Just in time for summer, Just Be contains TIËSTO’s (born Tijs Verwest) current hands-in-the-air anthem “Trafficâ€; when released in Europe last fall, it entered the Top 40 chart in the U.K. and went straight to #1 in his native Holland. The first single set for official release in North America is “Love Comes Again†featuring vocals from Nettwerk label-mate Brian “BT†Transeau. A video for the single was just shot at Club SPACE in Miami during the Winter Music Conference and stars his friend and Ralph Lauren model Ilona Engel. Both the single and video for “Love Comes Again†will be out in May.

Other songs on the 10-track album include “Sweet Misery†with a haunting melody sung by vocalist Joanne Lloyd. The song gives Tiësto the chance to take one foot off the dance floor and apply his driving production to a more filmic work. “UR†is one of Just Be’s down-tempo moments featuring the provocative vocals of Aqualung (aka Matt Hales), a singer-songwriter from the U.K. who came to Tiësto’s attention with his hit single “Strange and Beautiful.†TIËSTO brings up the pace again with his long-time collaborating vocalist Kirsty Hawkshaw (Opus 3, Way Out West, BT) on “Walking On Clouds,†co-produced/written by Josh Gabriel of Gabriel & Dresden/Motorcycle notoriety. The title track “Just Be†embodies many of the hallmarks of this album and is a classic dance floor epic true to Tiësto’s club roots along with a strong melody and haunting vocals from co-writer Hawkshaw. A highlight of the Tiësto live set around the world--his reinterpretation of Barber’s “Adagio for Stringsâ€--is followed by “A Tear In The Open,†another instrumental, marking the album’s powerful finale.

TIËSTO was ranked the #1 DJ by DJ Magazine’s world-wide readers poll in 2002 and 2003 and #2 “America’s Favorite DJ†by BPM Magazine’s reader’s poll for 2004. He is also an established remixer whose credits include works for Sarah McLaughlin, Dave Matthews, Moby, Delerium, Kosheen and Faithless. Other releases to his name are a string of highly successful compilations for Nettwerk America with Nyana (2003) and Summerbreeze (2000), the Magik, In Search of Sunrise and Forbidden Paradise compilation series for his own Black Hole label (1997 - 2002) and most recently the DVD’s Another Day In the Office (2002) and In Concert (2003) which capture his life on the road and the pure essence of his fanbase with the 25,000+ attended show at the Gelredome in Amsterdam in the latter. TIËSTO has also toured extensively in America over the last three years and has participated in high-profile events such as Moby’s Area 2 tour and the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. In June he will embark on a 15-city plus major market national tour of the states in support of Just Be

Hello everybody,

Well, the last few days the whole forum has been in uproar because of rumours about Tiësto's upcoming new album. Some people even managed to come up with tracks on the album. And of course, where there is smoke, there must be a fire. Let us present you with the official newsflash:

"Rumours have been going around for awhile, but now we can officially confirm the release of a new Tiësto single, the follow-up of his last anthem "Traffic". This time Tiësto teams up with L.A.-based Brian Transeau, BT for those who know what he's been up to. Tiësto has turned the song into the perfect mix of dancefloor sounds and mesmerizing melodies. As usual our man delivers the a-side mix, whilst on the b-side Magik Muzik signing Mark Norman grind it up some more by bringing in an edgier rhythm section and a surprise breakdown.

Love Comes Again will be released middle of April, and is the second single of the forthcoming artist album "Just Be", which features a total of 10 tracks, Also included on 'Just Be' is the much-wanted Tiësto version of 'Adagio For Strings'. More info to follow shortly..."
