while "tattling" or "squealing" on co-workers is generally unnecessary and not exactly cool, one has the right to talk to management if one's co-worker comes in 5 hours late to be at a party when there was a serious overload of things to be done . this is especially true if the same co-worker spends most of his time at the workplace on his cell phone and fakes a limp while at work so that he can sit down more often (and seems to walk just fine everywhere else ).
