nickijay Posted November 16 Report Share Posted November 16 I'll be on this board, reading and posting away, la la la, then all of a sudden this rude red box pops up and tells me that Internet Explorer cannot open the site....A connection with the server could not be established. This msg. is not new to me, it's just i don't understand how I can be in the site, posting and reading and reading and posting (and stopping to do 10 sec of work in b/t) and all of a sudden i can't access any of the posts. ibhugh Posted November 16 Report Share Posted November 16 The site has been having some 'issues', so it could be that. The other is that if the site gets too many hits simultaneously the response of the server could be so slow that you are timing out. It the second case just trying to get into the site again ususally corrects the problem. The first, well there is not a whole lot that can be done about that...
