In my opinion, the music was great, a lot of new stuff which I really liked. It wasn't packed but it was FREEZING on the main floor for a couple of hours until they finally shut the AC down. I was in a bad mood though so I left early. But that's a whole different story. Oh and I got the pictures so I'll stop by some time in the next couple of days or just bring them to Oakie.. People like Frankie Knuckles used to play them along with disco and early house cuts. Like you though i missed out at that time (hip hop,soul & funk for me), but it was there, lots of house producers will name DP as influences. I like their sound in general more than just a specific tune. I listen to everything from the old to the new. Some songs that stand out besides the ones mentioned are Blashphemous Rumours and Little 15 and World In My Eyes. Waiting for the Night is probably the closest I have to a fav DM song.
