weyes
we've been talking weddings at my work 'cause one of my co-workers is getting married. he's been talking about his dreams for his wedding throughout time and what friends have done, etc. i asked him about music, and he was pretty definite about what he wanted. it got me thinking:if you could get any dj to spin at your wedding, who would you get? vicman
i'd have dj thomar (from Cleveland) spin an eclectic mix of hip-hop, top 40, gangsta rap, death metal and greek polka with a few mexican mariachi tunes mixed in to keep it real. joeygk
Honestly, I really wouldn't care........if I was paying a dj to play at my wedding I would meet-up w/ them a day or two in advance and listen to all the their records and tell them which ones they can play and which ones they can't.....can you imagine sitting down danny howells and going thru his records and saying you can play this but not that...... megaclubkid
I'd prob get someone from NYC...Somebody commercial enough to play house that you can dance to.I can't break out my glow sticks, take a hit and dance to some deep tranceat my wedding! So I'd go with a Louie Devito.or maybe Skribble because he can play House and Hip-hop!as long as he doesn't try and bang my bride!lol-MegaClubKidDanny"Where's the Party at?" weyes
i'm still torn on this hypothetical, and it's my question !i'm thinking about the east coast boogiemen, 'cause the stuff they spin MAKES one's feet bring one to the dancefloor. unfortunately, though, i look like an ass when i dance to their music . paul johnson would be another good choice; that soulful stuff makes the people get down. the scumfrog can also keep a party moving, but i'm thinking that i'd have to have a real house dj to appeal to a wider audience and keep the mood super bouncy .
