It's my first year at the Conference and I feel so lost, so disoriented. There are so many names that I've never heard of. So if all of you could give me some info on some stuff, I would really appreaciate it... Please.Here's the deal, I LOVE HOUSE; Funky, Dirty, Deep, and Sexy. BUT, I also Like all other kinds (as long as it's gooooood, you know what I mean?). I am also really into parties that have a good venue and good vibes. In other words, I would choose the "Jump up and dance with a big 'ol smile on yo' face" crowd any day over the "My Gucci shoes are better than YOUR Gucci's, Foo" crowd. So, with that said, maybe you guys can direct me in the right path.What's a good thing to do on Monday night? Is the Frankie Knuckles and David Morales @ Crobar any good? Is there an after-party that night?Here's my plan so far. Feel free to take out your red pens though.Monday - UndecidedTueday - Danny Tenaglia's "Be Yourself" @ Warehouse Any good after-hours this night?Wednesday - Hear Tomorrow w/ Carl Cox @ Shelbourne (day) Steve Lawler "Light Out" @ Sate (Early night) Subliminal Sessions @ Space (show up at around 4 am)Thursday - Wet Grooves @ Shelbourne (day) <--------Is this any good? OM party @ Mansion Roger Sanchez @ Space (after-hours)Friday - Radio One @ Nikki Beach (of course!) during day Ferry @ Space fo' sho' Oh, and who's that Van Dyk guy?Saturday - I know you're gonna hate me for this, but everyone told me I have to go to Ultra at least once. Sasha + Digweed @ AA arena (for a little while) Deep Dish and my man Howells @ Space (after hours)Sunday - Anyone know of any good stuff going on?I know it's a lot of questions, but I just haven't got a clue on what to do. pizzacheaze Posted March 11 Report Share Posted March 11 its pizzacheaze not pizza face first off you guys are rude for hijacking this thread..second, F you got a pretty packed schedule,.. basically for the most part it turns out to be just a guideline anyways.. things change and you have the potential to get tired so make sure u get some rest too.. As far as what your plannin on going to, everything looks good but depending on where ur staying thats going to be alot of cabs - which is no big deal but im just letting u know if u didnt know that. Monday the juicey party looks pretty slammin as does Murk at mansion. Crobar looks good also.. but my first choice would be juicey at amika.And as you quoted, if you preffer the jumping up and down over the gucci shoes then you will most likely have a blast at ultra, dont listen to pizza face.. ultra has always been an awesome experience for my crew (but as you know you will either love it or hate it).. anyway have fun.. peace Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

piteenchile Posted March 12 Author Report Share Posted March 12 Thank you SOOOOOOO much to everyone who replied to my post; everyone has been really helpful.I am actually staying at a hotel about a mile from SoBe, so I'm thinking that I'll have to take a cab about once a night to go downtown. As far as my packed schedule, yeah, it's a little TOO much; but trust me, for the amount of energy I have, I could be a power plant.I am gonna let you guys know though, I am going SOLO. I had some friends that were gonna go with me, but they all backed out at the last minute. I really don't care since I've been looking forward to this event ever since I was 18 (I'm 21 now), so friends or no friends, I was gonna go anyways.Ever since I started reading the board, I noticed that there a lot of helpful people here that will go out of their way to write some advice; you have just proved my point.Thanks again to everybody for giving their opinions; I will take everyone's word into consideration. Let me know if you guys need any help. I would honestly lend a hand to everyone who has helped out.Hopefully I can meet some of you at the conference.And remember, on the 8th day, God created music.
