intoxikated
Anyone notice the resurgence of pin-striped suits for men? I personally think they look AWESOME if they're really dark and paired with jeans...I've liked this look for a while on guys, but lately, it's everywhere I look...lol it's probably been exploited already, but it looks good
dgmodel
yes for some time already... but i think its over kill with the pinstripes and striped tie and stripped shirt etc.. look like a fuckin m.c. escher painting walking down the street... brooks brothers pinny or a boss pinny with a solid shirt and solid tie... match the hankey or the pocket square to the tie and be on your way... crisp. dgmodel
oversized ppl typically shouldnt wear them... i dont know why but the lines seem to make them look bigger.
clubbingirl
no way, i feel like that pattern elongates the body - having a slimmer look, no?i went to this seminar thing and this guy was telling people how to dress for corporate america. umm, from what i remember, the guys said don't wear anything bright (lime green shirts, etc), always wear stokcings, no cleavage showing, skirt should be over knees, no white socks, tuck in your shirt unless its a straight cut on the bottom, annnnnnnnnnd if you're already tall don't wear pin-stripped suits. <<good thing im short>>
dgmodel
i dont know,, its weird if they have a belly its like the lines go all all over that bitch lol.. but youre right vertical lines do tend to make ppl look slimmer but just with suits for some reason i dont think that holds true... intoxikated
I don't generally like them on women...I haven't seen a guy look bad in one, though...they're just very flattering...it is starting to seem like overkill, though...I saw about 30 wall streeters wearing them on the train today lol
