There is a place on 20th and 8th...don't know the exact name...if you are walking uptown on 8th it is on the right hand side of the street...next to a hair salon. It is kind of clustered in between a few stores so you have to look carefully...from the front it looks like a gift/card shop...but there is a seperate part in the back that has ALL of the newest domestic/imported shit. Also, there was a place called Beat House on between 7th and 8th...either on 18th or 19th Street right next to the store co-op...I don't know if its still open, but I'm sure you could call. Sorry if my location descriptions are a bit off...I usually go to 8 Ball on 9th bet. 3rd/4th or Throb on 14th bet. 2nd/3rd...maybe those arent too far for you either!!!

Yeah, I usually go to 8-Ball, Satellite and just discovered Throb (good store!), but my girl works near there and I needed her to pick me up something,, Thanks again cwm20.gif

you could also try Downtown records they are in the 20s btw 7th and 8th and there is also Rock and Soul on 35 and 36th and 7th ave they are the cheapest on domistic 12 and the have a small import selection.

there is also Dance tracks 3rd st and 1st ave www.dancetracks.com or the Dub spot 12th st. 1ave these are all great record stores.
