djfrosty Posted June 14 Report Share Posted June 14 I know this is late but I didn't have access to a PC until today.Arrived in Miami Saturday afternoon, went to dinner Joe's Stone Crab. It usually is great but for some reason was just ok. Maybe cause of the summer time. Went to Nocturnal around 12:30 stood in line maybe 5 minutes, got in on the list no problem (thanks Angel). Drinks a little weak, but what is new. Loved the place. Although it wasn't very crowded at all. The only room crowded was the hiphop room. YUCK! Around 2 went over to Space Cedric was spinning. He had a real good opening set. Around 3 or so Sanchez went on. What can I say he is the man. I couldn't stop dancing. Some wicked house beats. The vibe and energy in the room was amazing. In the meantime, saw a fellow CP'er near the DJ booth. Went up and introduced myself to POD since I recognized him from pictures on the CJ site. Thought he was very unfriendly. Kind of an ass. Whatever dude. Oh well, went to the terrace after Sanchez finished and listened to him up there. Great patio set. Although it was a little hot. My girlfriend made me leave around 8:30 even though I would have stayed till noon. What an amazing night. Sunday went to Nikki Beach. It was decent. Crowd was good, beats were pretty good. You were probably unlucky with the drinks at Nocturnal. They are waaaay stronger than the ones you get at Space.You didn't compare them in your review.. LOL This is hilarious because peoplel have recognized me from photos also and tried to talk to me in clubs, but most times I keep it very short, because i hate yelling over the speakers. I can talk up a storm but when you are trying to work and it is loud music, this is not the time to talk. He is a man of msytery and a man of little words. He just lets his camera do the talking. The drinks at Space couldn't compare to Nocturnal since I switched to beer. Although both places comped two drinks (one for me and my girl) with some Space drink pass, Nocturnal drink pass.
