crowina
Does anyone know of a cover-up to hide a tattoo? I have a wedding to go to and I am the maid of honor, I need to hide or at least soften up some ink on my back and arms.

barraquilla
there's a makeup called visiora that will cover anything and should be easy to find in nyc. i don't know if you are darker skinned like i am, but i had to buy 3 colors and mix them for a match to my skin tone.if you're fair there should not be any serious mixinig issues.i just set it with my regular powder, but a little still rubbed off. i've also found that using a good concealer w/ my regular makeup will yield similar results in covering. though the staying power isn't the same. good luck. Orisha
Does it cover really well, like you wouldn't know it's there unless you pointed it oiut. And what about waterproofing?I would go get my tat today if I can be assured I can 100% cover it up when necessary. barraquilla
barraquilla
well, it's a creme type of makeup, so not waterproof. perhaps a waterproof powder could be applied over it? it did give complete coverage, my tattoo's are mainly dark colors and no one noticed a thing. Orisha
ok. Just gotta figure out wearing it around water, which I can socially avoid if necessary...do it, do it... get the tattoo. i'm kidding, just trying to be a bad influence. lol. .barraquilla I don't mind. crowina
thats a good idea i never thought of that... i have to make sure that the make-up does not get on the dress... i bought the dress, so i am not concerned about a rental, but i would look silly if there were make-up stains all over my back. has anyone from the previous post tried these type of make-ups. i am also not so concerned with 100% cover-up, it is a tattoo. i just don't want it to be the center of attention.go to the place that u got in and ask them...they'll probably noe what u can use.. Orisha
I use witch hazel extract to waterproof my makeup in the summer, maybe that would work...
