Anyone know if/when Crobar is coming back to NYC?

I've been away for a while, and I come back to find that 90% of the posts on here are from people promoting a bunch of wack ass parties. Is the scene that dead here that no one has anything to talk about, or has everyone just jumped ship from CP?

Sorry, but I think this is the dumbest idea EVER. You can't just slap a famous name on a club and think that everything else will just fall into place. Those places came along during a certain time and can't just be recreated. Times have changed...

No problem; thanks for the drinks. I always have a good time at Sander's parties. I miss his Everybody residency that he had at Crobar; they need to get him back in NYC on a regular basis again.

My friend said he probably won't be able to make it, so I'll have an extra ticket if that's the case (still not 100% sure yet). You'd have to meet me at the door. PM me if interested and I'll let you know.

Yeah, maybe we have been a little quiet. The Yanks were playing pretty badly in April/May, but we all knew that they would hit their stride eventually. That's quite unlike you Sox fans who bitched and moaned like little girls during all those years that you finished in second place because it was sooooooo unfair that the Yankees spent tons of money to put together the best team that they could. But you guys can't play that card anymore, because the Sox are guilty of the same thing. When they had holes to fill, they just went out and spent tons of cash on free agents (Drew, Lowell, Matsuzaka, etc.) So what are you left with now? You gloat about how your team is so great because they have the best record half way through June. Well the Yanks are only 9.5 out at this point, which is well within striking distance (just ask Bucky Dent). And even if you guys finish with the best record, just keep in mind that the team with the best record in the league has only won ONE World Series since 1990; and that was the Yankees in '98.

Yeah, well chances are most of the people on here that heard Deep Throat are used to hearing JP play it at every one of his parties and looping it for 45 minutes, which is enough to drive anyone insane. Overall, I think it's an ok track...nothing spectacular though. However, I've listened to some of his other stuff, and I was feeling it. His productions have a unique sound. He has another track called Who's Afraid of Detroit which is really good. I've never seen him spin live and was interested in checking him out. This party is gonna be a monthly residency, so there's always next time.
